Graduate Admission Requirements

Note: Programs may have specific admission requirements and deadlines, please refer to program websites for more details.
GPA Requirements
Graduate applicants are evaluated holistically, based on specific departmental and program requirements. In the past, successful candidates usually have met certain GPA minimum requirements:

| Master's Program | 3.00 undergraduate GPA |
| Doctorate Program | 3.50 undergraduate GPA |
| Doctorate Program | 3.50 master's-level GPA |
Entrance Exam Requirements
Complete the program-specific required entrance exams and submit your scores to UNT's Office of Admissions through the testing agency*.
*Some programs may provisionally admit students for one semester prior to submission of standardized test scores. Others have requirements that substitute for test scores.
