Dear UNT Faculty and Staff,

We've accomplished a lot this year by working together to surpass our goals and help students persevere to graduation. I know we have been challenged at times, and I thank you for choosing to be a part of our Mean Green Family. Your unique contributions are important and help move UNT forward.

As a token of appreciation and to allow you the opportunity to cheer on the Mean Green as they play against Miami (Ohio) in the Frisco Football Classic, all UNT offices will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23. UNT's winter break will begin at close of business Wednesday, Dec. 22. Instructions detailing how to record the closure hours are outlined by Payroll Time & Labor.

I hope the additional day of time will be beneficial as you prepare for the holidays or join your Mean Green Family for football in Frisco. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 23 at Toyota Stadium. If you can't attend, be sure to watch the game live on ESPN!

I hope your winter break provides you time with the individuals and activities you hold dear, and that you remain safe and healthy.
