Dear UNT Faculty and Staff,

I hope each of you will enjoy the half day off on Friday, Dec. 23, that Chancellor Williams announced last week. That time off is intended as a meaningful token of appreciation for all you do to support our students and advance our university. Please take that time to do whatever it is that will help you most during this busy and special season of the year.

Instructions regarding how to record the closure are detailed online by Payroll Time and Labor. Please contact your supervisor or Campus HR with any additional questions.

I wish each of you a happy, healthy, and restorative winter break. Please stay safe and enjoy your time. I look forward to what we will achieve together in 2023.
