UPDATE (Nov. 8): The deadline to share your feedback on these recommendations has been extended to Friday, Nov. 15.
Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024
Dear UNT Community,
As the Student Success Scan project team nears the end of its review of UNT’s current
student success landscape, I am eager to share another update with the university
community.
First, I want to thank everyone who shared their thoughtful feedback and suggestions
on our initial Student Success Scan report. The responses reflected a wide range of
UNT constituents, including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff.
After reviewing the feedback and delving deeper into the data and information collected,
our team is pleased to share high-level recommendations that address the challenges
and opportunities identified in the initial report.
We encourage you to read our recommendations and provide feedback through Monday, Nov. 11.
As one of the largest and most dynamic universities in Texas, UNT has a unique opportunity
to serve students from all backgrounds, helping them pursue credentials of value that
lead to purposeful and productive lives. It is our hope these recommendations initiate
new conversations about how we can work together to make UNT a national leader in
student success.
Sincerely,
Lisa McIntyre, Ph.D.
Vice Provost for Student Success
