Dear student,

At UNT, we want to make it easy for you to hit the ground running so you can have a great campus experience as you begin your academic journey.

Learning about all we offer you and about the many resources we have on campus can be a bit overwhelming, so we have a new program to help you figure it out! All you have to do is sign up for the UNT Starter Kit. This program is made for incoming, first-year undergraduate students, like you, and it is designed to help you engage with the many things we have to help you out so you get to know our campus better. Along the way you will receive tips for how to succeed and get chances to earn gift cards for shops around campus.

Sign up now to attend one of our Starter Kit Zoom events this summer at UNTStarterKit.org for one of the following dates:

  • Thursday, July 13, Noon-1 p.m.
  • Friday, July 14, Noon-1 p.m.
  • Monday, July 17, Noon-1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 19, 10-11 a.m.
  • Wednesday, July 26, 7-8 p.m.
  • Friday, July 28, Noon-1 p.m.

This program is another way we show that we care about your academic success. We want you to succeed with us as you start your fall semester at UNT. This program is separate from Freshman Orientation, so if you haven’t yet signed up for the required orientation program for incoming first-year students, please do so right away through Orientation and Transfer Programs. Welcome to the Mean Green Family, and I hope to see you on campus this fall!
