Sport Entertainment Management Master's Highlights

Aside from the Dallas Cowboys partnership, the program has relationships with the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Mavericks, FC Dallas, the Dallas Sports Commission, Learfield, Texas Motor Speedway and a multitude of minor league franchises throughout the DFW metropolitan area.
In recent years, students have completed semester long projects that range from partnership pitch decks, social media analytics reports, employee training program proposals, to international brand strategy campaigns and event operations among others, all for industry clients.
As all classes are grounded in the inverted classroom philosophy, lecturing by professors is kept at a minimum, allowing for many guest speaker appearances and extensive network opportunities.
The capstone course in the program is a consultancy project in which students are asked to acquire their own client (support will be provided for those who need it), and work on a project with them directly, all to prepare our students for a successful career in the sport industry.
You'll hear guest lectures from industry leading business professionals within the Cowboys organization and project-based learning opportunities related to the Cowboys organization.
This program contains 18 credit hours that concentrate exclusively on the sport entertainment industry and allow students to completely immerse themselves in the industry.
