The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a state mandate required for all incoming students to be assessed in the areas of math, reading and writing. Unless you’re exempt, you’ll need to take it and report your score before orientation.
Submit your test score or your exemption to TSI@unt.edu.
All new international students must complete Pre-Arrival Orientation for International Students AND immigration document check-in via iNorthTX. iNorthTX is UNT's system for managing immigration documents and information.
Once you are accepted, you will be provided with information about orientation for new students. Orientation is your first step in successfully transitioning to UNT. All undergraduate students are required to attend an orientation session.
For graduate students, the Tolouse Graduate School's New Graduate Student Orientation is optional, but strongly recommended. You need to register in advance.
